Keep yourself warm in the cold winter...

Is it cold where you live? Where I live the temperature has dropped dramatically in the past few weeks. It is sort of the coldness that vibrates to the bone if you know what I mean. I watched a youtube video by clothesencounters about a month or two ago and Jenn made a good point. THERMALS, THERMALS, THERMALS... I can't believe I didn't think of that... I like to dress quite light even in the winter because I really adore the look of wearing just a jumper and jeans. I love how the neckline cut of the jumper shows my neck and collarbones. BUT it is way to cold these days to do that. I also don't like to wear jackets because I do not like to carry them when I take it off. So I decided to stop by at Uniqlo. Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing company and I love Uniqlo because they have good lounge wear clothings. Also if you are looking for plain solid colored tops Uniqlo is the place to go. Their clothings are reasonably cheap as well. I picked up two thermals. Now, in total I have three thermals... the extra one was my mum's... she gave it to me. The white thermal has a high round neck so I cannot wear it with some outfits. The gray one has a "V" neck  and the black on has a low round neck. I chose these colors because my wardrobe basically consists black, gray, and off- white creamy color clothings in the winter. I believe they also had patterned ones but I went with the solid colors because I don't really dig patterns too much. Overall, they keep me very warm and no one knows that I am wearing them underneath my  jumpers which is always a thumbs up. My friends actually asked me quite few times if I was not cold just wearing a jumper and I just said "nope... not at all:) Thermals are my secret weapon to defeating the cold.

Meet Chipper

Meet Chipper!

Name: Chipper
Breed: Pure American Black Labrador
I am from: Arkansas
Age: 6
Weight: 90lbs.
Height: When he stands up in his back two legs he is as tall as my 5''10 father.
Best Feature:eyes... he often does the "puppy dog face"

Chipper came into my life when he was only four month old. I would say at four month he was about the size of medium sized dog. He was tiny compared to now and he was a bit of a cowardly dog but he soon became a handsome manly dog. His coat is beautiful. Like many other dogs, he understands people's emotions. Also, did you know that dogs know that a person is a dog-lover or not??? Chipper is our first dog and we love him. He is also extremely huggable.

Interesting fact: He was named after a baseball player named Chipper Jones from Atlanta Braves. My family used to live in Atlanta.

If you would like to please comment and tell me or show me your favorite pet!!

Hope you enjoyed!
Yes... you guessed it! Today's post is all about gum. I am specifically talking about these types... on the right. The pack of gum packaged in plastic "pop- out" type. This one I have is from Trident and it apparently has 33% more gum. Can you tell?? Anyways that's not the point. This morning I was thinking about new blog posts ideas I wanted to write and one thought led to another.

Put yourself in a classroom full of students or in a room with your friends. The moment you take out the gum,  you remember what happened last time. So you think to yourself ..."ok, i need to take it out as slowly and quietly as possible so no one will notice that I have a whole pack of gum". You managed to quietly take it out of your bag (or pocket) but the minute you press the gum out of the package... you are the target. The crackling sound catches the attention of maybe two or three people and they immediately take notice. If you are in a room with your friends they will bluntly ask for gum but if you are in a classroom with classmates this is where the evil tactic comes in. Most of the time it is a girl that uses this evil tactic. During class group work time, she will ask "the class"... "does anyone have gum?" AND when no one answers she asks every single person in the class asking "do you have gum" or just saying the world "gum?" Finally she will stop in front of you and say " I KNOW  you have gum". Yup, you got me... I have gum... I hate this girl.... why is it always me...? Has this ever happened to any of you? Why does this happen?

Next scenario is even worse...
In a room with your friends... the moment they hear that crackling sound your friends know they will automatically get gum. They think "she has to give me because I am her friend". Uhhh.... i don't know about that.... Once one friend bravely asks for gum, his/her followers ask. "oh, can i have it", "can i have", or just stick their hand out thinking that I will hand them a piece of gum. AND there is always the one person who holds off because he/she feels bad that you only have one piece left in the pack. YES, I AM THE ONE INDIVIDUAL THAT DOES NOT ASK FOR A PIECE. I want gum but I feel too bad for the friend that is giving out all his/ her gum!
All the miserable experiences I have been through by just having a pack of gum... truly sad
BUT I have seen others utilize their pack of gum to their advantage
    - Some girls use their pack of gum to get guys!?!? it is true I have seen this happen and it happens to be one of my friend who uses this tactic. So, this girl was first in the same situation that I was in and was forced to give out pieces of gum to her friends but she finally said "NO I HAD ENOUGH... NO ONE ELSE IS GETTING GUM ANYMORE... I DON'T HAVE ANYMORE!!!" Suddenly she sees her crush walking to her and he asks..... yup you guessed it "can I have gum?" All of the sudden her anger is gone and she takes out a brand new pack of gum from her backpack and gives him a piece of gum AND  even better she offers one more.

I çompletely don't understand. Hope you guys enjoyed!

Nail Polish

This color is my current obsession. This nail color is by L'óreal and it is called "haute couture red".I love nailpolish colors that are quite dark. I really dig colors that a one shade off of black so this color was perfect. You can definently build this color up but I just left it alone after two coats. I used Revlon Colorstay base coat and finish it off with Seche Vite. It is a gorgeous red wine/bloody color and it is very appropriate for the fall/ winter season. Hope you enjoyed this post!

This is my second package of Simple's cleansing facial wipes and for the price it is a very effective product. In the United States, this retails from $4.97- $6.49.
How did I discover this product: I was interested in purchasing this particular product because one of my favorite Youtuber, Ingrid (Missglamorazzi) mentioned this product in her video. I was so excited to try the product.

Facts about the product: This wipe is great for sensitive skin because it contains:
      - No Alcohol
      - No Oils
      - No Perfume
      - No Dyes
And apparently this product contains Vital Vitamin B5 also known as  Pantothenic acid. Do I think the vitamin helps? Hmm... I guess?

I believe they are UK brand. As you can see above the wipes are packaged in a light green plastic package with a sticky seal to keep the wipes moist. This package contains 25 wipes and each wipe measures 7x7.5in/18x19cm. It's more than enough to cover your whole face!
    This product claims:
             -Refresh
             - Nourish
             - Remove waterproof mascara

Product Claims: This product did what it claimed to do except removing the waterproof mascara. This particular feature drew me into the product originally and it has failed me. I have not yet found wipes that actually remove waterproof mascara. If you have any sugesstions please let me know! How great would it be if there was  a wipe that can take all the makeup off! There is no need to buy separate eye makeup remover!
Overall, I give this product a 5/5 because I switched to using washable mascara.
